The Deputy Head of Legal acts as a vital aid to the Head of Legal, providing necessary support across multiple aspects of the legal department. The primary purpose of this role involves active participation in contract management, IP management, corporate structuring, statutory licensing, dealing with regulatory inquiries, and coaching the team.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist and backup Head of Legal in managing day-to-day functioning of the legal department.
- Maintain effective communication with counterparts, ensuring smooth transactions and interactions.
- Independently manage complex and cross-functional legal projects within business and regulatory deadlines.
- Provide essential support in litigation and corporate legal processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of key legal policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in contract management through the entire contract lifecycle.
- Report to Company UBO on the developments.
- Monitoring changes in laws across jurisdictions where the company operates and brief various teams about upcoming changes and their impact on business processes.
What we look for in you:
- Degree in Law from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years experience in a similar role in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate governance.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for design and continuous learning.
