Key Responsibilities:
- Feature engineering, combining, and monetization of market data.
- Design and proof-of-concept implementation of effective trading strategies based on market research findings.
- Conduct extensive market research to identify new trading opportunities.
- Perform research and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) of existing trading strategies to enhance risk-adjusted returns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to leverage expertise and refine trading strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Quantitative Research, with 2+ years specializing in High-Frequency Trading (HFT).
- Experience with low latency taking and market-making trading strategies.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.
- Understanding of market microstructure and feature engineering.
- Experience using L2/L3 market data for research.
- Exceptional quantitative and mathematical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in research-oriented programming languages (Python preferred) and the ability to write efficient code.
- Strong collaborative spirit, work ethics, and drive for success.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly.
